This music illustration project reinterprets The Strokes’ iconic album, Is This It, capturing the raw, late-night energy of New York City through a custom graphic narrative. Moving away from original release imagery, the artwork balances a high-contrast black-and-white aesthetic with a bold NYC taxi-yellow color activator.

The outer sleeve features a hand-drawn cityscape with a classic checker cab, while the inner gatefold expands into moody, linear illustrations of subway commutes and character design. Developed into full production assets (artes finales), the visual identity adapts seamlessly across packaging mockups, Spotify interfaces, official band merchandise, and concert posters for the 2026 Post-Punk Revival Tour.
